Our skilled therapists bring a range of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Adlerian Therapy. All Rise therapists are trained in Trauma Informed care.

Teen Therapy

Therapy with teens is all about meeting them where they are—because let’s be honest, the teen years can be a lot. Between school stress, social pressures, and figuring out who they are, it’s no surprise that navigating this stage can feel overwhelming. That’s where we come in.

 

At Rise, we don’t do stiff, awkward sessions where teens feel like they’re being lectured or interrogated. Instead, we talk with them, not at them—incorporating their interests like art, gaming, music, or whatever helps them express themselves. Using approaches like CBT, Gestalt, and solution-focused therapy, we help teens work through challenges, build coping skills, and gain confidence in handling life’s ups and downs. Therapy doesn’t have to be boring or uncomfortable—it can be a space where they feel heard, supported, and even (dare we say) enjoy themselves.
