Individual counseling is a collaborative process through which individuals work one-on-one with a trained counselor in a safe, caring, and confidential environment to explore their feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change. The overall goal of counseling is to increase one’s sense of well-being.

Trauma can range from major experiences to negative memories that stay with our minds and bodies long after the events have passed.

We utilize techniques that work best for each individual and focus on reducing negative thoughts, restructuring cognitive beliefs, and creating healthy coping skills.
